Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

How to Cancel:

  • Log into your Eztate account
  • Go to Settings > Subscription
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Confirm cancellation

Cancellation Terms:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the paid period
  • No charges will occur after cancellation takes effect
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time

2. 7-Day Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility:

  • All subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial subscription date
  • The 7-day refund period begins from the date your payment is processed
  • Refunds apply to Pro plan (₹1,999/month)
  • Only the first subscription payment is eligible for the 7-day refund
  • Renewal payments are not eligible for refunds
  • Enterprise plan refunds handled on case-by-case basis

How to Request a Refund:

  2. Subject Line: "Refund Request - 7 Day Policy"
  3. Include:
    • Your account email address
    • Transaction ID or payment receipt
    • Date of subscription purchase
    • Brief reason for refund request

Refund Processing:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of subscription purchase
  • Requests submitted after 7 days will not be eligible for refund
  • Refund requests are reviewed within 1-2 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Upon refund approval, your account will be immediately downgraded to Free plan

Important Notes:

  • After receiving a refund, you will lose access to all Pro features immediately
  • Downloaded content and portfolio data will be preserved but limited to Free plan restrictions (2 properties)
  • You may re-subscribe at any time after receiving a refund
  • Only one 7-day refund is allowed per user account

3. Cancellation After 7-Day Refund Period

No Refunds for Cancellation:

  • Subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day refund period are non-refundable
  • You will not receive a prorated refund for unused time
  • Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • No charges occur after the billing period ends

Example Scenarios:

Scenario 1 - Within 7 Days:

  • You subscribe on November 10, 2025
  • You request cancellation on November 15, 2025 (Day 5)
  • Result: Full refund of ₹1,999, immediate loss of Pro access

Scenario 2 - After 7 Days:

  • You subscribe on November 10, 2025
  • You request cancellation on November 20, 2025 (Day 10)
  • Result: No refund, Pro access continues until December 10, 2025, no renewal charge

4. Free Trial Policy

Currently, Eztate does not offer a free trial for Pro plan.

Users can test the platform using the Free plan (₹0) before upgrading to Pro.

The 7-day refund policy serves as a risk-free trial period.

5. Refund Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We may issue refunds outside the 7-day window for:

Technical Issues:

  • Platform unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our error
  • Critical features non-functional for extended periods
  • Refund amount prorated based on actual downtime

Billing Errors:

  • Incorrect charges due to system error
  • Duplicate charges
  • Full refund of erroneous charges regardless of timing

Unauthorized Charges:

  • Charges made without user authorization
  • Account security breaches resulting in fraudulent charges
  • Full refund with immediate investigation

6. Failed Payment Policy

Payment Failures:

  • If payment fails, we will retry 3 times over 10 days
  • You will receive email notifications about failed payments
  • Access to Pro features suspended after final failed attempt
  • Account automatically downgrades to Free plan after 30 days
  • No refunds apply to failed payment scenarios

Restoring Service:

  • Update payment method in account settings
  • Pro access restored immediately upon successful payment
  • No retroactive refunds for suspension periods

7. Downgrade Policy

Pro to Free:

  • You may downgrade at any time through account settings
  • Downgrade takes effect at end of current billing period
  • Portfolio items exceeding Free plan limits (2 properties) will be preserved but not editable
  • No refund for remaining Pro period (unless within 7-day window)
  • Stored messages remain accessible in read-only mode
  • Community access revoked after downgrade

8. Account Deletion

Upon Account Deletion:

  • All subscription benefits terminate immediately
  • Refunds only available if deletion occurs within 7-day subscription window
  • No refunds if account is deleted after 7 days of subscription
  • All data, messages, and portfolio items permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Account deletion is irreversible
  • Deleted accounts cannot be recovered

9. Prohibited Refund Circumstances

We will NOT issue refunds for:

  • Subscription cancellations requested after 7 days of purchase
  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse after the 7-day period
  • Lack of usage or engagement with the Platform
  • Dissatisfaction with collaboration outcomes or results
  • Competition from other platforms or better offers elsewhere
  • Violations of Terms of Service resulting in account termination
  • Expired subscriptions (more than 30 days past billing date)
  • Renewal payments (only initial subscription eligible for 7-day refund)

10. Dispute Resolution

Chargeback Policy:

  • Contact us before initiating credit card chargebacks
  • Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension
  • We will provide transaction documentation to payment processors
  • Chargeback disputes may affect future subscription eligibility

Payment Disputes:

  • Contact: bhyalrealty@gmail.com
  • Include: Account details, transaction information, dispute reason
  • Investigation completed within 5 business days
  • Disputes resolved according to payment processor policies (Stripe)

11. Subscription Renewal Terms

Automatic Renewal:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
  • Pro plan renews monthly (₹1,999/month)
  • You will receive email reminder 7 days before renewal
  • Renewal payments are not eligible for the 7-day refund policy

Preventing Renewal:

  • Cancel subscription before renewal date
  • Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before renewal
  • No charges occur after successful cancellation

12. Enterprise Plan Refunds

Enterprise plans are custom and handled separately:

  • Contact sales team for Enterprise cancellation and refund policies
  • Enterprise agreements may have different refund terms
  • Email bhyalrealty@gmail.com with subject "Enterprise Refund Request"

13. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will:

  • Apply to future transactions only
  • Not affect existing subscriptions or refund eligibility
  • Be communicated via email and platform notice
  • Display updated "Last Updated" date
